Overview
Trello is built around a simple idea of organizing work through clear visual structure.
This project focused on presenting the product from the perspective of a first time user, following the experience from sign up to task completion through a clean and easy to follow motion flow.
The goal was to make the product feel approachable, flexible and visually intuitive from the very beginning.

Product Insight
One of Trello’s strongest qualities is how naturally the workflow adapts to different types of tasks and planning styles.
Boards, cards and checklists create a system that feels structured without becoming complicated.Templates also play an important role in making the onboarding process faster and more accessible.
Instead of starting from an empty board, the product immediately gives users a sense of direction and progress.
Motion Approach
The motion direction focused on clarity, pacing and interaction driven movement.
Every transition was designed to follow the structure of the product itself, allowing cards, menus and progress states to guide the flow naturally from one step to the next.
The animations stay lightweight and responsive to reflect the simplicity of the interface while keeping the experience visually dynamic.

User Flow
The video follows the same progression as a real onboarding experience.
It begins with account creation, then moves through templates, board setup and card creation before gradually introducing checklists, files and task organisation.
Each scene was structured to keep the process easy to understand while maintaining a smooth and connected visual rhythm throughout the project.

Outcome
The project ends with a completed task moving into the final column, creating a simple but satisfying sense of completion.
The final sequence was designed to reinforce the core idea behind Trello by showing progress not as a feature, but as the center of the entire experience.
